Abercrombie / Hill End (2 Days)
 A 2 day fully catered and accommodated tour.
We will explore the gold mine towns of Sofala and Hill End, trace the Macquarie River and enjoy the incredible mountain scenery from our fire trail route.
Overnight in quaint country style accommodation at Oberon and then a full day of fabulous four wheel driving and scenery through the beautiful Abercrombie National Park.
Tariff includes dinner and breakfast and accommodation. See the magnificent scenery of this little known area in the safety of Australia's leading tag-along operator.
Basic Requirements For This Tour
The 4WD
Suitable to 4WDrives with high and low range.
No other vehicle requirements are required
Fuel
A full tank from Lithgow (the start point) and refuel at Oberon
Spares/equipment
A UHF radio – we can hire you a radio
Driver experience
Prior experience not necessary as we will assist you as we go or you
might consider attending our driver training course. - Do
you require Driver Training?
Food
Dinner and Breakfast is supplied but you need to bring your own lunches
and morning tea. The restaurant for dinner is licensed.
Facilities
We stay in comfortable Motel rooms in Oberon.
